Resumo

O presente estudo foi realizado na Clínica da Família Medalhista Olímpico Ricardo Lucarelli Souza, localizada no Rio de Janeiro, e teve como objetivo analisar as principais motivações, obstáculos e benefícios vivenciados por pacientes idosos na prática de atividade física. Os resultados revelaram que a busca pela melhoria da saúde e da qualidade de vida foi a principal motivação para a prática de atividade física entre os pacientes idosos.
