Resumo
Bullying has been gaining more and more attention in Brazilian educational establishments, due to the need to encourage educators, parents and the community to reflect on their conceptions regarding socialization among students. This literature review study with meta-analysis aimed to obtain recognition of the different forms of violence practiced in Physical Education classes, analyzing the literature and research carried out on the subject, aiming to search for a more comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon. The Scielo, Pubmed and Google Scholar databases were consulted. This systematic review was conducted in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Five studies were included. The PICO strategy was used to guide the research; however element C was not included for reasons of methodological characteristics. We sought to understand the types of bullying practiced in Physical Education classes. According to the studies analyzed, all studies presented cases of bullying in Physical Education classes, and that the phenomenon is present in the school environment, consisting of one of the main factors involved in violence in schools (Chapell et al., 2006). The conclusions highlight the importance of identifying and preventing bullying in Physical Education classes, highlighting the need for partnership between the family, the school and the community, since relationships within the school are also reproductions of these social contexts.
