Resumo

O transtorno de ansiedade generalizada afeta significativamente o bem-estar psicológico e a qualidade de vida dos indivíduos. Embora abordagens farmacológicas e psicoterapêuticas sejam comumente utilizadas, o treinamento de força tem emergido como uma intervenção complementar promissora para a redução dos sintomas do transtorno de ansiedade generalizada. Este artigo apresenta uma revisão integrativa da literatura sobre os efeitos do treinamento de força em indivíduos com transtorno de ansiedade generalizada, abordando mecanismos fisiológicos e psicológicos envolvidos. A análise de estudos recentes sugere que o treinamento de força pode atenuar os sintomas de transtorno de ansiedade generalizada, e melhora da autoconfiança e percepção de autocontrole. A revisão identifica também variáveis importantes, como a intensidade e a frequência do treinamento, que influenciam diretamente a eficácia do exercício em reduzir a transtorno de ansiedade generalizada. Conclui-se que o treinamento de força é uma intervenção potencialmente eficaz e segura para pacientes com transtorno de ansiedade generalizada, embora haja necessidade de mais estudos controlados para consolidar essas evidências e padronizar protocolos de exercício.
